Technical Information

To integrate BIOTRONIK device and patient data into the hospital EHR system, an interface software component ("customized adapter") can be easily implemented by hospital IT services.

Once installed, such an interface is able to extract, transform and translate the internationally-standardized BIOTRONIK IEEE 11073-10103 XML BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring^® and programmer data into the hospital's EHR-specific parameter or data fields.

The hospital IT has to implement the customized adapter using the XML specification which can be found on the right site of this page in the XML Documentation section. To be able to test the customized adapter, test XML files are provided in the XML Test files section right below the XML Documentation section.
