CardioMessenger

CardioMessenger^® is the link that connects the patient to his physician. It is a simple, mobile, external patient device that receives a whole spectrum of data from the range of high-quality BIOTRONIK's ICDs, CRTs, and pacemakers.

Once it receives the data, the CardioMessenger immediately forwards the information to the Home Monitoring Service Center using the cellular network (all) without any assistance from the patient.
 

CardioMessenger I/II

The portable CardioMessenger offers patients unwavering assurance along with complete mobility. Its small size, integrated Quad-band modem, and multi-voltage transformer make it ideal for unrestricted traveling in more than 50 countries.

Plus, the convenient belt clip and carrier strap along with lithium ion batteries that last up to 72 hours provide increased freedom and mobility.It's just as easy to use as to carry. With only one button and a simple LED icon display, the CardioMessenger is today's smallest, most advanced, remote monitoring system available. And it requires no patient involvement for data transmission.

All CardioMessenger II devices also contain a unique call-back function. It allows physicians to request a patient call-back through a flashing LED on the CardioMessenger, resulting in less patient disturbance and increased quality of life.

The CardioMessenger II is compatible with all Lumax ICD and CRT devices while the CardioMessenger I serves all other implants.
 

CardioMessenger II-S

The CardioMessenger II-S is a simplified bed-side version of the CardioMessenger II, suitable for those patients requiring less mobility. It has all the features of the portable CardioMessenger II and can also be used worldwide as well as for traveling. And like the CardioMessenger II it is compatible with all Lumax ICDs and CRTs and with all future implantable cardiac devices.
 

CardioMessenger -S

The newest additon to the CardioMessenger patient transmitter family is the bed-side version of the portable CardioMessenger I. This unit is designed for use with most legendary implantable cardiac devices and is more suitable for those patients who prefer to leave their communicator in the home. Like the mobile CardioMessenger-I, the new CardioMessenger-S bed-side unit communicates via cellular telephone networks, providing the same worldwide portability as the mobile (hand-held) transmitters. Patients may even carry the lightweight bed-side unit with them when traveling to other countries and continue to maintain the daily, automatic link between their implant and the physician.
