Lake Oswego, Oregon – (June 4, 2009) – BIOTRONIK Inc. announced today that it fully embraces compliance with the revised AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Health Care Professionals. AdvaMed provided guidance in the form of a revised code in December 2008 including changes in training, consulting agreements, and marketing practices.
While many of the updates to the AdvaMed Code of Ethics were previously implemented in BIOTRONIK’s policies and procedures, BIOTRONIK has completed the necessary changes to our internal policies to fully comply with the updated AdvaMed Code of Ethics. BIOTRONIK is committed to the updated code of ethics and is also committed to enforcing the updated code of ethics through all levels of our organization.
