At BIOTRONIK, we work hard every day and ensure that that our guiding principle “excellence for life” reflects in everything we do.

For us, excellence for life is a commitment to ensuring the highest QUALITY. We manufacture products of the highest quality to guarantee patient SAFETY at all times. We work continuously to develop innovative, unique SOLUTIONS and offer our customers excellent SERVICE. Our goal is to SAVE AND IMPROVE PATIENT LIVES.


Highest Quality

We uphold the highest quality standards in everything we do, down to the last detail. For more than 50 years, we are committed to saving lives and improving patients' quality of life. Our products undergo unique quality and validation checks that surpass industry safety and reliability standards. For example, each implantable defibrillator and pacemaker undergoes over 40,000 testing hours to verify adherence to all quality requirements. We thoroughly document and keep each production step and test result for 25 years. 

Patient Safety

Saving lives and improving patient health have been BIOTRONIK’s goals from the start. Patient wellbeing is always our top priority. That’s why we place the utmost importance on the highest safety and reliability of our products. BIOTRONIK produces all critical components in-house, thereby maintaining complete control over the production process. Moreover, we manufacture exclusively in the high-tech countries of Germany, Switzerland and the U.S.

Solutions for Tomorrow

We focus on providing solutions and creating technologies that raise the standard of care. At BIOTRONIK, we work in close collaboration with experts to develop products that address the needs of physicians and patients. One out of every five employees at our Berlin headquarters works in research and development.

Our worldwide international expert panel meets to brainstorm solutions that are most useful to physicians. This is just one of the steps we take to develop life-saving innovations continually.

Service for Patients and Physicians

We offer unmatched educational, logistical and technical support, and strive to build long-term relationships with patients and physicians.
