How long does it take to receive feedback?
We will get back to you as soon as possible. Immediately after your application, you will receive a confirmation email.

How can I prepare for an interview?
The best way to prepare is to learn about our company, our culture, and the advertised position. Think of examples from your previous experience that demonstrate your qualifications and prepare questions you want to ask us.
What can I expect in the interview?
The interview is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We want to learn more about your experiences, skills, and motivation. At the same time, you can find out more about us and the position. Depending on the role, there may also be a technical or practical test.
Can I submit an unsolicited application?
Yes, we welcome unsolicited applications! If there is no suitable position advertised for you at the moment, but you think you would be a good fit for us, simply apply unsolicited via karriere@biotronik.com.
2. Entry and Onboarding
What does the onboarding process look like?
A good start is important to us, so you can expect a structured onboarding process that your supervisor plans together with the team before your first day. Depending on the location, there is a welcome event, an introduction to our systems, and the opportunity to meet your team directly. Additionally, a welcome buddy will accompany you during the first weeks, providing advice and support. For quick orientation, numerous e-learnings are available in our Learning Management System.
What happens on my first working day?
On your first working day, we warmly welcome you and ensure that you settle in well. Depending on the location, you can expect a welcome event, an introduction to our systems, and the opportunity to meet your new team.
Will I have a fixed contact person for my onboarding?
Yes, during your onboarding, you will have a fixed contact person – for example, a buddy who accompanies you during the first weeks. This way, you always have trustworthy support for all questions regarding your start with us.
What support do you offer new employees?
In addition to structured onboarding, we offer regular feedback sessions, training opportunities, and various internal networks to support you as best as possible. Your team and supervisor are always there for you.

Yes, an internal transfer is possible and supported by us. We offer an internal job market for this purpose.
Do you support external training?

Can I write my thesis with you?
We primarily focus on internships and working student positions. If a suitable opportunity for writing a thesis arises, it will be communicated in the respective job advertisements.

Is there a possibility of being hired after an internship?
An internship with us is primarily intended to gain valuable insights into our way of working and to gather practical experience. Hiring is possible if a suitable vacant position arises.
Do you also offer internships for pupils?
Currently, we focus on internships for university students. If school student internships are offered in the future, we will inform you on our career page.
6. Technical and Organizational Questions
Can I edit my application afterwards?
Yes, you can edit your application in your profile at any time.

How can I edit my privacy settings in my applicant profile?
To edit your privacy settings in your applicant profile, please log into your profile and go to the settings. There you can specify which information you want to share and which you do not. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact our HR team at karriere@biotronik.com.
How long is my application stored? (Data Protection)
Your application is stored in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Generally, application documents are stored for a period of six months after the application process is completed. After that, they are securely deleted unless there is a legal obligation to retain them.
