Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy

Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT) is used to treat the symptoms and complications associated with certain types of heart failure. It helps the pumping chambers to beat in a coordinated manner so that the heart works more efficiently. By improving blood flow, CRT may reduce heart failure symptoms, improving patients’ quality of life and reducing mortality. BIOTRONIK offer a range of device therapies depending on patient indication, from a low voltage pacemaker (CRT-P) to a high voltage device with both pacemaker and defibrillator functions (CRT-D). Clinicians commonly implant quadripolar lead technology, and this is available in various shapes and sizes of the Sentus lead portfolio, delivered using the Selectra catheters.

ProMRI

ProMRI® Today’s choice of implanted cardiac system defines tomorrow’s patient care. Having an implanted cardiac device should not mean that an MRI scan is completely prohibited during the entire lifetime of the implanted system.
