When technology meets the human body, it’s a special moment. Because that’s when technology shows the impact it can have. This special occasion changes people’s lives. In 1963, we developed Germany's first pacemaker - for us the first of these special moments. From there on, we grew rapidly and soon more than 10,000 people a year were feeling the impact of our technology. By 1998 we completely transformed more than 100,000 lives annually. Today our technology improves the lives of more than 1.3 million people yearly.
But that’s not all. Our vision is that with our technology, every day, every second, a life will be saved, extended, or improved. An ambitious plan? Absolutely! But all great achievements begin with a bold idea. We will carry on researching, inventing and testing until we reach this goal!

The curriculum vitae
Your CV should provide information about your personal and professional background. It must be clearly structured so that we can quickly get an overview. The essential elements should be structured and presented in the correct order. Additionally, a cover sheet can also be added containing your personal information. If you want to include a photo with your application documents, make sure that it is up to date and you can identify with it. Private photos, oversized photos, or Polaroids can create the wrong impression about your personality. However, your application does not need to include a photo, as our application procedures are based solely on professional criteria.
Attachments
The attachments help us to better assess your qualifications and your previous positions and complete the CV with additional information about your career. Please submit all relevant report cards, certificates etc. together as a single file.
For high-school students: your last two report cards are desirable.
For students: your current transcript of records and high-school diploma are desirable.
For internships: the internship regulations of your university are helpful.

A cover letter helps us to get to know you a little better.
