GERMAN DESIGN, GLOBAL IMPACT
The Home of High Standards
As a global company, we are proud of our European roots and German heritage. BIOTRONIK’s medical devices are created by engineers and designers in Germany, Switzerland, the US and Singapore with a paramount focus on quality and workmanship. This culture holds true as we continue to expand our reach and impact patient lives across the globe.
We research, develop and manufacture in technologically advanced countries – Germany, Switzerland, the US and Singapore. Due to our steadfast commitment to quality, BIOTRONIK controls the entire manufacturing supply chain. We make all of our products’ critical components. This allows us to guarantee the highest reliability, while ensuring physicians and hospitals receive products that are made by the most-qualified employees in the industry. With numerous quality assurance mechanisms in place, we believe in transparency and publish a biannual Product Performance Report, detailing how our products impact physicians and patients.
Cutting-Edge Technology from Berlin
At our German headquarters, we develop and produce remarkable medical technology for people with cardiovascular disease. Thousands of employees work in Germany’s capital, continuing a tradition of quality and workmanship. BIOTRONIK’s success is reflected in double-digit growth in recent years.
Swiss Precision Meets German Engineering
At Swiss headquarters in Bülach, our employees work in research and development, clinical studies, manufacturing, quality control and marketing. BIOTRONIK is one of the largest employers in the Zurich area. We make cutting-edge guide wires, balloon catheters and stents in one of the biggest cleanrooms in Europe. We have developed and produced state-of-the-art medical technology products for the treatment of vascular disease since 1995.
Since 1979, BIOTRONIK has developed advanced medical technology in the US. Hundreds of quality assurance, manufacturing and marketing experts work in our US headquarters in Lake Oswego, Oregon. In 2016, we opened an office and physician training center in New York City. Interested in learning more about BIOTRONIK’s success stories?
The tiny nation of Singapore is a busy home to high-tech exports – ranking an impressive fourth in the world. Its highly-skilled workforce, world-class research institutions, education infrastructure and overall business climate led BIOTRONIK to open a plant there in 2016. The Singapore hub makes vascular intervention and cardiac rhythm management components in its cleanroom.
